Guidelines for Library Use
1.Membership
Eligibility: You can become a member of the Tagore Society Library if you are recommended by a member of the Governing Body of the Tagore Society.
Application Process: Membership forms are available with the Librarian. Please fill out and submit the completed form.
Required Documents: When submitting your application, please include one passport-size photo and your residential address verified from your Aadhar Card.
Fees: A refundable caution deposit of Rs 1000/- and a yearly membership fee of Rs 200/- are required at the time of registration
2.Use of Resources
Book Handling: Handle books and other materials with care. Do not fold pages, write in books, or cause any damage.
owing Limits: Members may borrow a maximum of 3 books or magazines at a time for a period of 15 days.
Return of Books: Return borrowed books on or before the due date. Late returns will incur a fine as per your membership status.
3.Library Hours
Opening Hours:
The library is open from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on weekdays. Members are kindly requested not to visit during the morning hours, as the library is reserved for the exclusive use of Tagore Academy students.
Sunday Hours: On Sundays, when the school is closed, members are welcome to visit the library from 10:00 AM until its closure at 8:00 PM. Please plan your visit accordingly.
General Conduct
Wile Phone Usage: While in library please refrain from watching videos or inappropriate sites on your mobile phones.
Photography: Do not take unwarranted pictures of any person within the library using mobile phones.
